J. N. KNOLES, Farmer, Sec. 6, Mason City Twp. Was born in Gibson Co., Ind., in 1846. During the Civil War, he was a member of Co. A, 152d Ill. Inf. Came to Mason Co. in 1879. Was married in 1869 to Miss Harriet Knowles, and in 1879 to Miss Mary Smith. P. O. Mason City.
